Cougar, Puma, Mountain lion on a mountainside in a dead fall of trees midwinter. The calm is inviting and dangerous.The cougar was a photo taken by Jessy Dutchik, a tracker outfitter, and neighbor. I reproduced the cougar in paint and the background is where I wish I could have seen him.
Susan was born and raised in Preston, Idaho and now makes her home on a cattle ranch with her husband in Alberta Canada. She loves working in the fields and with the cattle. She has always had a love of Fine Art and color. Recently she has found a love for Monochromatic Oil Painting which she has been studying with Deanne Jackson. She is always trying to learn new things and challenge herself with new subjects and methods. She appreciates other artists talents and methods and wants to study and learn from their works.
